I went for a little 100 mile ride today because it was too nice of a day to spend indoors.
Like I told a friend of mine, knees in the breeze is great therapy.
Riding and Wide Gliding.

Heck I didn't know they had cams in motorcycles. Never dawned on me. My 68 Firebird I had sounded like it never would start and then there was an explosion. wooom wooom #%@^%$#$$#%# :D

Nice, a 68 Firebird would be worth a pretty penny if you still had it.

Yep I put $2,000 of my hard earned money I saved for 3 years of working for my Dad in the motor. It would fly. I got lots of tickets for excessive noise when I would rattle windows on open headers. :D

I had a 69 GTO with a GTO Judge motor in it and a Muncie 4 speed rock crusher. That sucker would snap your neck in first and second gear. I sold it several years ago but I'm starting to regret getting rid of it, since my buddy is almost finished restoring his 68 goat convertible.

I have a project I might get working on soon. 1988 Iroc-Z with T-tops and the tuned port 305. Should be a smoking ride as soon as I am done.

There is a guy I have seen at car shows that is the original owner of a low mileage Iroc-Z, a super nice car.
I also have a 1987 Monte Carlo SS all original car, and of course I still have the TA.
Post some pics of the Iroc.

Two thumbs up. :-bd

A couple weeks ago, they did a video shoot of the TA for an upcoming country singer named Coffey Anderson.
The car was the main focus of the video that should be coming out on CMT sometime in the next few months.

Any of you old schools ever own a rigid bike? Buying one today and was just going to get any words of wisdom you could pass on. I hear mixed reviews. That they are a rough ride. That they corner differently ect.....

Rode it home from Kempner to DeLeon last night. About a hour 45 minute ride. Was pleasant enough. Stopped in at Goldys gas station restraunt. Great burgers. But you are very right on the bridge bumps. First thing I did today was order springs for the seat . Will post pics as soon as I figure out how.

You can upload them here http://tinypic.com/ and then share them on here.

I leave tomorrow for my ride to 2 Million Bikers to DC. We are going to ride the Dragons Tail on the way up and through the Great Smokey mountains.
