Shiner vs Falls City might be a pretty good game, also Weimer plays Schulenburg.

Puncher defense has been lights out through 3 games, 1st team defense hasn't allowed score and has give up less than 50 per game. Goldthwaite didn't get their 2nd first down until the end of 3rd quarter and Comfort didn't get their first one until mid 3rd quarter. Iraan's offense is in for brawl.

GW/Junction should be a good game. Junction at home. Toss up i think. I like GW, tradition wins.

Shiner/FC. I like Shiner. Big Cerney fan and the way his kids play.

Rocksprings/Irion County. Should be another good one. Im thinking IC at home but ????.

Windthorst/Munday. I HAVE NO IDEA.

BUNCH OF GOOD GAMES THIS WEEK!!!

I'm thinking Refugio at Edna will be a good game. Bobcats will win, but will have to break a sweat, probably.

Canadian vs Stratford should be a great game. Stratford looks especially solid, and our offense is hit or miss. Hoping our defense will continue to be solid and keep us in the game!

I'd like to attend both of these games especially the Shiner-Falls City game.

Sundown vs Farwell should be a heck of a game, especially with Sundown coming off of their 27-3 thumping of Seagraves.

Based on scores your offense looks pretty darn good! But so does Stratford! Will this be a shootout or are there actually good defenses behind those gaudy scores?

To Wildcat fans, are comparisons to the 2014-15 teams automatic? Those were really special teams.

That one was hard to pick - two good teams.

I agree. Similar records, good tradition for both teams. But expect the Comanches to prevail

Offense has been real hit or miss, lots of penalties and mistakes. We are a very young team this year. If the boys improve throughout the season like last years team, who knows what will happen. Definitely no comparison to 14-15 though.

Our defense is salty as always. I'm not sure what magic touch Coach Cav brought with him, but it works! Bush land had by far the best defense that we have played, but not really sure how good they are.

Our JV team this year will be one to watch out for in a couple of years! They are loaded, and getting better every week!

Sounds like the Punchers. If our offense becomes the equal of our defense we will be back at Jerry World. We have the personnel, but blending and experience are needed. We have Shiner and Refugio, among others, in Region 4, so being good isn't enough - must be exceptional on both sides of the ball, and able to pass and run, and defend both equally well. We have a chance to be better than 2014, but will have to do it without superstars- just a bunch of above-average athletes. IMO, of course.

I would say we have a few superstars. I would say this is the fastest TEAM Mason has had since I can remember and I have been around a while. Normally we would see the difference in the playoffs with speed against Shiner and Refugio etc but this TEAM can move and will be able to match our opposistions speed and has lots of weapons to choose from. They will be fun to watch as playoff time kicks into gear.

I believe this will be a very good game. If the Trojans control the Mogul ground game, then I think they win. Otherwise, it could become the Alex Thorn show.
