Texas High School Hall of Fame

Postby BigTweet » Fri Sep 08, 2017 12:52 pm

Mart's very own John Garrett (Big Tank on here) is nominated this year for induction into the Texas High School Hall of Fame...if any of you ever saw John play High School football, then you know that he is very deserving of this honor...listed below are the other nominees from his decade...only one player from each decade is inducted...

1990s
Jason Bragg, Stephenville
Alan Faneca, Lamar Consolidated
Ketric Sanford, Corsicana
John Garrett, Mart
John Norman, Midland Lee
David Warren, Tyler
Plez Adkins, Bartlett
Kliff Kingsbury, New Braunfels
Bethel Johnson, Corsicana
And fight goes with that......

Great list and all deserving, but how do you go against Faneca, was also a stud in the nfl. Is Quan Cosby considered a 2000's? And I think you should add the cockerum kid from Goldthwaite to that list and probably Tidwell from Schulenburg. Both those guys got two rings.

I agree with Keith Cockerum. He wasnt fast til you put pads on him. Fun to watch vs Schulenburg, Pilot Pt., and Corrigan Camden.
