Moving Down for 2014-15

What teams are moving down next year that could be a real threat in the playoffs or even the state tournament? The only ones I know of in Region IV are Schulenburg and Refugio and I don't really seeing them being real title contenders.

Hawley moving down and joining our football district. In softball, they were very good but I'm not sure who they graduated.

2A State Champion Crawford drops to the new 2A, but lose 7 seniors including both of their pitchers. Hawley lost in the semi-finals at the state tournament but also lose 7 seniors including their main pitcher who went 32-1.

All 6 Crawford girls that made all tournament were seniors.

Abernathy, Floydada, Groveton all lost in area round, Riesel was a 4th place team and lost in Bi-district.

I think Crawford would have competed very well at the 3A state tourney...to be East Bernard with their pitcher says quite a lot.

Half or more of those girls played on a Crawford team that lost in finals of World Series a few years back. There will definitely be a need to reload ... I expect they will compete well.
