Muenster fell to 4A #10 Burkburnett 77-68 at the American Airlines Center Tuesday night. Impressive showing against a high quality 4A opponent.

Excellent showing indeed! Burkburnett typically scores in the 90s against 4A schools and has topped the century mark four times already this season. I' m impressed by Muenster's effort.

Big upset in North Texas last night - Olney defeated Petrolia 45-42 in OT. Petrolia took a 17-2 lead after the 1st quarter before Olney trimmed it to 5 at the break. The Pirates would take a seven point lead to the 4th quarter but were outscored 8-1 to go to overtime. The Cubs would outscore the Pirates 10-7 in the extra period to take the win.

I heard that, and I heard Windthorst-Seymour got exciting early on the Boys side, and the Seymour Girls apparently played great defense?

I didn't attend the games so not sure what you mean by exciting. Seymour led 12-1 after the 1st and won by 13.

Girls game looked exciting - tied at 17 at the half. Trojanettes took a 9 point lead to the 4th quarter. Windthorst had two good looks from downtown at the end of the game that hit the back of the iron. Trojanettes shot 32.5% from the floor including 4 of 9 from behind the arc. Seymour didn't light it up either at 39.5% including 2 of 8 from 3 point land. Windthorst was 13 of 18 from the charity strip for 72.2%, while Seymour only managed to make 11 of 19 for 57.9%.

Well we are still rolling along,19-2. Lost one to LCHS by 2; Tapps' 4A #5team and one to Nazareth by 2; 1A's #4 team.
TABC has us at 13. Hope the kids peak at the right time.
