Refugio Baseball

Postby MrBob » Wed Apr 13, 2016 1:52 pm

Refugio had 11 straight shutout games going into last night's game against London. The Texas record is 12, so Refugio was trying to tie the record. London did score on Refugio, so the record is still intact. Refugio had allowed only 5 runs all season, going into last night's game, 3 in an early game to Aransas Pass, and 2 to Pettus, in a 30 - 2 win. Refugio won last night's game 8 - 5.
It's a pretty good day when you're on your way and you like where you're going. And you've got what you want and you want what you've got and you're wise enough to know it.

I looked at the brackets yesterday, Refugio will have Weimar, Riviera, and Thorndale in theirs. Winning District would've been nice, but I sure like our bracket way better, lol.

Region 4 is really going to be tough. This year Refugio has more pitching, so they should be OK in a 3 game series, unlike last year. They will get Riviera in the second round, so it will get tough, quick.
