Poor Weimar, lose to a very good 4a team, then a 5a team by 1 in both and drop to 20, lol.

Glad to see our Trojans at #23. They're a decent hitting, fielding, base-running team and use 7-9 pitchers. Not sure we have a true ace but collectively they all throw well and give you a lot of options, including two left-handers.

You're correct, my bad. Just don't see 19 teams being better than them in 2a ball, but it'll all play out in the long run. They may very well win our District which includes the #1 and #6 team.

I was going to say that THSB is pretty good about knowing their baseball, but then I noticed they ranked Victoria East #5 in the region. Unless each guy covering a classification doesn't collaborate with the other classifications but you would think they know which teams are strong and which aren't.

Center point has a hurler throws 90's and can go way yard.

AC will be pretty decent as well

Sounds like you don't want them in a one game take all in the playoffs!!

Must be talking about Aaron Walters. Only a junior but has committed to Texas A&M.

Aaron Walters and Center Point were cruising along to a district win vs. Mason, when mother nature had other ideas. The game was halted after multiple lightning delays with the Pirates up 4-0 in the top of the sixth with runners on the corners and nobody out. The game will pick back up from that spot when the Punchers visit Center Point on April 5.
Walters was dominant on the mound as he pitched all five innings didn’t allow a hit and struck out 12, including seven in row.
From the Kerrville Times

From a game on the 27th
Friday night went just the way Center Point would have drawn it up: trailing Saint Mary’s Hall 2-0 in the bottom of the seventh with Alan Zendejo on third and Aaron Walters at the dish. The star Pirate was 0-2 in the season opener, but that all changed when he made contact on a 2-2 pitch that traveled close to 400 feet and tied the game at 2-2 sending it to extra innings.
“I was just thinking, ‘hit the ball as hard as I can’,” Aaron Walters said. “Find a gap or at least get a base hit.”
